Camping

In the mojority of cases, the tours will either bush camp, or use minimal facuility campsites, on occasions where options are not available, campgrounds will be used, each tour on this site contains a summary at the top of the page where the type of camping is listed. Each style is described in more detail below.

Irrespectvie of which type of campsite is used, each tour predominantly uses swags, swags are an Australian product which are suited to our mostly dry conditions. A swag is a canvas bag, containing a high density matrass, you put you sleeping bag inside the swag and lay the swag on the ground. When asleep you body is covered and head exposed. Sawags are a fantastic and comfortable product and the most common comment from first time uses is "where can I buy a swag".

Sleeping under the stars is something that most people hardly ever do
