Macropus rufus (red, large foot) - NOT FOUND ON KI
Seen throughout most of the outback.
The largest kangaroo.
This is the largest marsupial, with the male reaching up to 85 kg in weight and standing as tall as a man.
The females are often half the size of the males. The red fur and white under-sides make these a very distinguishable species of Kangaroo.
This kangaroo will live and move in mobs that vary in size depending on local and seasonal conditions.
