Terms and Conditions Travelwild
A deposit is normally required to paid at the time of booking with the remainder due prior to the departure of the tour. If the tour is scheduled to depart within 1 month, the full amount is due.
By providing us with contact details you agree that it is OK if we contact you.
We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, cancellation conditions apply (see below) and if you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the fees may be able to be recovered through your travel insurance provider (check with provider for details)
When you book or prior to the tours departure, you must notify Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd, of any medical condition, medical history, or medications that you are on. In particular, asthma, diabetes, heart conditions, allergies to wasp / bee stings and food allergies.
With any outdoor activity, there is an element of risk. The tours promoted by Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd operate in remote areas. Risks in undertaking these activities could include, but are not limited to, hypothermia due to adverse weather conditions, personal injury from hiking over rugged and uneven terrain, injury resulting from a vehicle accident or property damage.
Operation of Tour:
Some Travelwild Tours are operated by Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd and some are Operated by Local Partners based in the region of the tour. When using a local operator, Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd’s liability is that of a booking agent only.
Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or sickness to any customer or damage or loss of property due to events which are beyond our control. Passengers should note that adventure travel involves a higher than normal risk and a signed release may be required from all participants before tour departure. We also take no responsibility for any operator whose services are used as part of your trip including but not limited to activity and accommodation providers.
Alterations to the itinerary may occur in the interest of safety, comfort or unforeseen circumstances due to causes such as weather, illness, or misadventure. Every reasonable endeavour will be made to keep to the published schedules but no guarantee is given.
Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd will not be held liable for costs incurred by change, delay, or the missing of connecting services.
Exclusion of Passengers:
Guides are able to exclude a person from a tour at anytime if in the opinion of the guide or operator that person may be likely to risk the health, safety or comfort (including unsociable behaviour) of other clients, him or herself, or the environment. In such circumstances Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd will not be obliged to offer any refund or transfer of ticket.
If you cancel a tour more than 30 days prior to departure you agree to pay 25% of the total tour cost. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to departure you agree to pay 100% of the total tour cost.
Collection of Fees:
You agree that any money owing for the tour based on these conditions, including cancellation fee, can be recovered from deposits paid to Travelwild Australia Pty Ltd and / or debited from Credit Card details you have supplied.
