The 3 Day 4WD Kakadu Litchfield Tour explores Kakadu National & Litchfield Park in Northern Australia in a small group with a maximum of 9 or 16 passengers (depending on the vehicle). Accommodation is bush camping in a swag around the campfire at minimal facility campgrounds inthe dry season, and air conditioned dorm, with a Bar nearby, in the Wet Season.

It's a backpacker tour with plenty of adventure, Kakadu and Litchfield are amazing wilderness destinations full of waterfalls, swimming, crocodiles (not at the same time) and Aboriginal Culture.

Travel with other people like you - happy backpackers with a sense of adventure, most passengers are between 19 and 39, with about 50% males and females.

Kakadu is the ultimate wilderness destination with a huge variety in landscapes, wildlife and seasons, as a result the itinerary for this tour is built to match, which means it's very flexible and changes from month to month depending on what's hot and what's not.

The highlights* of the 3 Day Kakadu Litchfield Tour however are Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls, Barramundi Gorge, Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole & Nourlangie Rock, plus plenty of places you probably haven't heard of like, Marrakai Floodplain, White Lily Billabong, Corroboree Billabong, Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre & Ubbir Rock.

National parks visited on this safari include Kakadu National Park and Litchfield National Park

Hikes include a hike to top of Twin Falls (7km) Jim Jim plunge pool (2km), plus a selection of other walks throughout the tour and a private boat cruise on Corroboree Billabong.

Aboriginal culture is very strong in Kakadu, the Kakadu tour visits the Warradjan Aboriginal cultural centre and Nourlangie Rock, one of the best places in the world to view indigenous rock art. Your guide will also discuss with you the many aspects of this rich and varied culture.

* Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls and Barramundi Gorge, are normally open between June and November, any Kakadu destination can be closed by the National Parks at any time without notice. If a destination is closed, it will be substituted with something else really good.
