I found the trip overall pretty good with a mixture of hiking climbing walks swimming and interesting stops to enjoy the indigenous artwork. The camping experience was something I was really looking forward to as I had done this in alice springs and Uluru a year ago. However I got badly bitten by god knows what!and to be honest that probably ruined a large part of the trip for me as I got a bad itchy rash from my feet to my hips. I did recieve antibiotics and treatment for the rash afterwards in Darwin but a week later I have still the remnants and the irritation of the red pimply rash.

Im far from one to complain as I love the outdoors and camping but I have never experienced a reaction like this before and am not allergic to anything that I am aware of. Apart from this the trip was fun and I was glad to visit the NT National Parks.With the exception of the horrible rash I would give it 7 out of 10. Im not sure if anyone has experienced a bad reaction like this before and im still not sure what it was..maybe sand flies, bed bugs or some ants maybe as ive been bitten by mozzies and never had a red pimply affect like this before.

The tour was very good. Our guide was excelent and knew the countryside very well and was able to react on changing weather conditions. I enjoyed that.

The only issue was the wrong time for pick-up at the confirmation email, which caused that I had to wake you up at 7a.m. Do you remember? (there were stated pick-up time 6:30 instead of 7:30).

The tour was great, I'd definitely give it a 10/10. Our tour guide Anthony was really friendly and taught us so much about the wildlife, landscape and Aboriginal heritage. There was a great mix of driving, walking, swimming and free time so we didn't get too tired or sore or bored.
