This tour was great !

We saw many beautiful lansdcapes, many wild animals and Tony, the always smiling guide, was really nice and eager to answer to all of our questions !

The accomodation was warm and quiet, and the food was pretty good (especially the breakfast).

The only bad point was the weather, and the fact that we ate sandwitches in a cold place with a lot of wind and rain. It would be better to have lunch in a dry place.

We would rate 8.

The Woolshed Accommodation is great, located on a 500 acre farm, it consisted of a dorm style accommodation which has been converted from an old shearing shed, inside is a large open lounge are with fire place, it's a great atmosphere and all linen is provided.

Kangaroo Island, Little Sahara

Your tour guide will pick you up nice and early from your Adelaide accommodation at around 6.15am and you then head down to Cape Jervis, where you catcht he Sealink Ferry to Kangaroo Island, arriving onto the island at around 10am.

From Penneshaw expect to get straight into the action as you head for Seal Bay Conservation Park, which is undoubtable one of th highlights of the tour as you take a guided beach walk on the beach, one only a handful of places in the world where you can walk on a beach and get within a few metres of the Seals, made even more special by the fact that these animals are an endangered species, this is an experience you will not forget.

Then it's off to near by Little Sahara, where you can try sand boarding, choose either to sit or stand up snowboard style at this amazing network of sand dunes.

If you are keen there is time for an optional Quad Biking Sunset Experience (at own expense) and then it's back to the Woolshed to cook up a feast.

As night falls you will also have the opportunity to little fairly penguins come ashore at Vivonne Bay.

Kangaroo Island, Admirals Arch

The whole Western End of Kangaroo Island is occupied by the Flinders Chase National Park, it contains vast tracts of Wilderness, heaps of Wildlife, a long Rugged Coastline, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Numerous Hiking / Walking trails.

You start the day by getting down to Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch nice and early, both places are quite popular with tourists and can get very busy as the day goes on, so it's great to able to view them without the crowds and really appreciate these amazing natural wonders.

It's then time for a walk and there are a number of short walks within Flinders Chase and also at Hanson Bay just outside the park.

After lunch you'll head for the sheltered North Coast of Kangaroo Island, much more placid than the south, the north contains many beautiful white sandy beaches with calm clear ocean. From here you'll head back to Penneshaw where, weather permitting you'll jump back onto the Charter boat and then onto your Adelaide accommodation.
